The moment I learned that we had mice in house, I totally freaked out. No matter how hard I did clean the house, these nasty little critters just kept on nesting around our attic and our basement! mice in houseSomeone told me that if I saw a single mouse running around the house, I could bet my life that there are already hundreds of mice in house hiding everywhere at home. I didn’t really believe this statistic, but since I got curious, I set up a camera in the kitchen and pointed it at the place where I saw the mouse. I left it running overnight.

When I woke up the next morning, I was horrified to witness droves of mice in house running around out kitchen countertops! My husband had to replace all our dishes and glasses and stored them in our room where they are safe from mice.

As I said before, I tried all sorts of products to eradicate the mice in house, I tried to use organic mouse repellant products. Tell you what BAD IDEA. Sure, they WORK, but you end up with DEAD MICE around your house, and the smell, oh god. Not only does the odor drive my husband crazy, but also WE COULDN’T FIND THE DEAD MICE BODIES! Trust me, you do not want the same thing to happen in your home. The stench of dead mice in house just hung.

After all research done at beginning, I asked close friends about how to get rid of mice in house, and luckily, I have this one friend who had the same problem. He recommended to us those electromagnetic devices that you plug into your outlets, so I bought four of them. I put two in the kitchen, one in our bedroom, and the last one in our baby’s bedroom, just to be sure.

I don’t know how it worked or how it happened, but it WORKED. My video camera told me so, anyway. There are many ways in getting rid of rats, but one thing you ought to know is that you do not want to know how to kill mice. It will leave a decaying stench in your house, and they will rot under your floorboards. Not nice. Not healthy.

mice in houseYou know you’ve got mice in house when you see droppings around and little holes where there shouldn’t be any holes. And the sounds mice in house make at night! Those little scampering sounds they make and the scratching and gnawing. You might’ve been able to let all of these go if only they didn’t do it within the walls. Who would be able to sleep with that? No one. So you’re really left with no choice but to learn how to get rid of mice in your house. mice in houseLiving in a medium sized place was never a problem for my family and me until we noticed that we had mice in house. At first, sincerely, I did not mind. But then when clothes around the house started to get damaged with small holes and the food stored on the cupboard had some little gnaws in them, I could not help but be worried. However, I did not relent. These mice in house were small, and their things shouldn’t be that bad. And I did not want to hurt them so I never thought about killing them. On nights that I wrote alone and in silence, I would saw these little mice in house ran around my small abode and it would made me smile. Company is still a company after all. So I decided to leave the little mice in house alone, I shall never use those morbid mouse traps or sticky pads, or poison that you mix with food. I just couldn’t opt for that kind of torture.

Then I started getting sick. I went to the doctor and the results revealed that the food I was eating was contaminated. I had to call in sick at work for a few days and that got me in trouble with my job. The doctor told me that I was lucky. In some cases, Salmonella poisoning can occur because of food contamination brought about by mice in house, and I didn’t want that big health risk for my family and me!

As if things couldn’t get worse, my laptop was also targeted by the pesky critters.  I need my computer for so many reasons and use it for my job, to talk to my friends, to communicate with loved ones living on other cities and countries, and so much more. And then I woke up one morning to see power wires damaged. Because I ignored the mice in house, I had to dole out some cash to replace the damaged power cable. That was the last straw for me. Mice in house was no more allowed for me!

I started to do research on how to get rid of mice in the house. I asked my friends and colleagues about it and they gave me various options.
